Quick update
Quick update everyone. Not a whole ton has changed over the past few days, thus the reason for no blogs. I'm trying to tweak things here and there with the diet. I am 100% SCD. It's great eating this way. Gut is doing a bit better, just trying to figure out why I get lightheaded / dizzy / toxic and C. It's no fun. Hopefully things will correct itself over time. It's also hard knowing what to suppliment, when to, etc. Hope everyone is well and ready for summer.

Past few days
Good morning / afternoon everyone! Another day, another.... That can be good or bad! :) I'm a few days into STRICT SCD. I haven't really done the intro 100% because I had a bite of a banana here and there. But I pretty much stuck to broth, pieces of chicken and some steamed carrots. Gut wise, I haven't been feeling awfully terrible the past few days. It's just the other symptoms I am trying to get to subside. I know it's not die off related because it was happening before as well. Just very lightheaded, droggy, dizzy, toxic, etc. Hoping it subsides but not sure what is causing it. Hopefully everyone else is doing well. SCD seems to be a miracle for many!

2nd day of very low sugar fruits
It's be OK up to this point. Yesterday was decent, till night time. Around an hour or 2 before bed, I got very lightheaded and just lethargic feeling. My whole body, expecially head feels like dead limp weight. I also get anxious. I had a tiny bit of almond butter, perhaps that was it? I don't know. Today I woke up, had 2 scrambled eggs with a tiny bit of SCD yogurt. Been feeling good for the most part. Then after lunch I started going down hill. I had a few red peppers with some grass fed beef for lunch. I then had another bite of almond butter. Havent had anything for about 2 hours and still feel very lethargic, miserable, and feel like dead weight. Time, time, time - hopefully!

SCD Book came today
I'm a bit excited to start it - although it really isn't to new to me. We did SCD about a year ago, but didn't do the intro long. More less jumped right into SCD after a day or two. Going to start tomorrow or Wed. It's a bit difficult for me though since I am predominantly constipated versus the big D. 99.9% of UC'ers or Crohns is D. I am having a difficult time understanding why. I'm SEVERLY lethargic feeling lately. Hot, cold, tired, grouchy, bloated, gassy, blah, blah blah. You get the rift... We'll keep updated.

Blah!
Hi All,
So just figured I would give a quick little update while waiting for my SCD book to arrive. It's been a pretty crappy day. I often go a day or 2 without being able to use the restroom, and I sure do dred these days. Super bloated, gassy, crampy and sick - around the clock! Awful. Even water makes me horribly sick. Distilled water... spring water... you name it. I do see better times ahead though.
Hows everyone else doing?

2nd blog
Ok, so after gathering many initial thoughts over the past 24 hours, it's definitely been a bit overwhelming. I understand to keep up with this - it's going to take a lot of effort. Hopefully sooner than later, more followers appear which will make it all the more while. Over the past 10+ years, I have done a TON in regards to meds, doctors, home remedies, etc. One thing I am sure of is - this can definitely be beat, and I prefer to do it without drugs. I made a big step today by order a book 'Breaking the Vicious Cycle" by Elaine Gotschall. I'm super excited to read it.

My path to wellness
Hello everyone! So here I am. 13 years later - thousands of days of misery, 50+ doctors, 25+ different types of meds, a TON of negativity, and a whole lot of "You will never get better" - and I am more determined than ever. I 100% know that this disease is CUREABLE. Not just treatable - but with the right lifestyle, it can be gone. It's just a matter of pressing the right buttons! I've talked with many people who have done it, it is now MY turn! Hopefully I can get many people to join me, and we can heal together! Stick by my friends.
